Gay author E. Lynn Harris will be speaking at Wayne State University in Detroit about life as gay man while being a minority on Friday, April 1.
Author of "Invisible Life," "Just As I Am," "And this Too Shall Pass," "If This World Were Mine" and "Abide By Me," Harris has been featured on over the past three years on Out Magazine's "Out 100" list and New York Magazine's "Gay Power 101." He also has been named to Ebony's "Most Intriguing Blacks" list and Savoy's "100 Leaders and Heroes in Black America."
A popular college lecturer, Harris has spoken at the colleges and universities all across the country and will speak at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 1 in the General Lectures Hall on the main campus of Wayne State University.
