Detroit rapper Eminem’s child Stevie Mathers, who came out as genderfluid and bisexual in 2021, has gone public with a new relationship that Mathers describes as “serious,” and it turns out, it’s only new news to us.

Clearly, Mathers shies away from the tabloids as much as their famous dad. The 21-year-old dished about the relationship on their sister Hailie Jade Scott’s podcast Just a Little Shady, casually revealing that the pair have been together for two (very quiet) entire years.

“My boyfriend, his name is Jase,” Mathers said on the podcast. “He moved in with me like last year in December. It’s going really well. We’ve been together for like two years now.” Jase and Mathers had been in a long-distance relationship before moving in together, though Mathers didn’t elaborate about their respective locations.

“It’s hard, but I feel like if you really have a connection with someone, it can work, especially if you make time for it to work,” they said, adding, “It’s a hard thing but it’s a lot easier and it’s worth it when you get to live together and actually experience those things. But yeah, it’s been really fun. It’s been a learning experience too. I’d say this is my first like serious relationship in my adult life.”

Scott seems pleased about her sibling’s relationship. “I love who you’re dating,” she said.

Now that the couple is out in the open about their status, they’ve naturally gone Instagram official, too — which actually happened a lot sooner than people thought. Months ago, Mathers began sharing multiple photos of the lovebirds taking woodsy walks, attending a wedding and snuggling together in bed.

As Pride Source happily reported in 2021, Mathers came out as genderfluid and bisexual in a TikTok video that detailed their recent name change and their realization that all pronouns feel comfortable to them. “Watch me become more comfortable with myself,” the video began.

Mathers and their famous dad were recently spotted at a Detroit Lions game.
