FERNDALE – After the Taste of Ferndale and Fun & Funky Arts Show, event attendees can head over to Club Q for the first Ferndale Fashion Phenomenon.
The Fashion Phenomenon will be complete with food, live music, and the latest trends in new clothes, hair, and make-up. The event is Sunday Sept. 19 at 4:30 p.m.
The Fashion Phenomenon is sponsored by Detroit Bro's Custom Cycle, Club Q, Midwest AIDS Prevention Project, Ferndale Blues Festival Committee, Ferndale DDA, Nami Sushi, and Ferndale Youth Assistance. Fashion sponsors include Ciasi Salon, Beatnix on the Avenue, Pompadour, Mother Fletcher's, Noir Leather, Stella Sundance Shoe Outlet, and Cloud 9.
In addition to the fashion show which begins at 7 p.m., a live concert by Menehunes begins at 5 p.m. with a cash bar and food. The emcee is PJ Jacokes of Second City. Honorary Chair is State Representative Andy Meisner and the event features a special guest appearance by Michiee Devale.
Funds raised through donations at the door, raffles, and auction items will support the Fifth Annual Ferndale Charity Blues Festival, Ferndale Youth Assistance, and Midwest AIDS Prevention Project.
