While the holiday season brings with it an air of wintertime cheer for most, many in the LGBTQ community know that the holidays can sometimes be associated with strained familial relationships. However, on Saturday, Dec. 19, from 1 to 5 p.m., @detroitnature and #rainbowtax are hosting the first-ever LGBTQ Pop-Up Shop.
"Issa positive, self-loving vibe that you DO NOT want to miss during this holiday," write event organizers. "So grab your mask, coats and gloves and come join us!"
Attendees will get to experience a socially distanced winter space that's accepting of LGBTQ identities and try out the offerings of a variety of vendors.
