First Royal Oak pub crawl a success

The first Royal Oak "Fat Tuesday" pub crawl was a financial success, according to event organizers Craig Covey and Monica Mills of Midwest AIDS Prevention Project.
Forty volunteers were organized between 16 venues and over 600 tickets were sold to the first time charitable event.
Over $6,000 was raised for local charities, including MAPP which Covey serves as CEO.
Covey and Mills said they are considering making the pub crawl an annual tradition.
