Gay IT group to gather at Angel's

FERNDALE – And you thought LGBT people were just about high fashion, haute couture, and gourmet cuisine. Well, you were wrong. The Lambda Information Technology Group has formed to show the world that LGBTs can be computer savvy too.
LITG's premier meeting will be held Thursday, June 1 beginning at 7 p.m. at Ferndale's Angel's Cafe. The group will host Craig Swartz, an experienced IT'er, who will discuss Internet security and the Sarbanes/Oxley law.
The meeting is free, and a light dinner of soup, salad and a bread basket will be available for $10.50. For more information or to RSVP call 313-871-5316 or email [email protected] (specify meeting only or meeting and dinner).
