Windsor, ONT – Susan Horowitz and Jan Stevenson were married on June 18 at a beautiful outdoor park on the Detroit River. Ten friends and family were present to witness the ceremony which was officiated by Neil Hodgins.
About 95 guests attended the reception June 26 at the Mystic Creek Golf and Banquet Center in Milford. The festive event also celebrated Stevenson's 50th birthday, and the happy couple's 11th anniversary. The event, which featured a brunch buffet and a miniature golf tournament, was both lighthearted and touching.
Stevenson and Horowitz are the co-publishers of Between The Lines. They met 13 years ago while serving together on the board of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force in Washington, D.C. Horowitz is originally from New York City. Stevenson is from Cleveland, Ohio and has lived in the Detroit area since 1987.
