House party for Peters campaign

OAKLAND –
Gary Peters is running for U.S. Congress from the 9th congressional district in Oakland County. Peters is a long time ally of the LGBT community. On Oct. 21 you can meet Peters and hear his views on the serious issues impacting our community at a house party from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the home of Gerry Banister and Scott Douglas.
Whether or not you are from the 9th U.S. congressional district, the opportunity to elect Peters to a seat in congress is critical to all LGBT people. While Peters just scored 100 percent on the Triangle Pride Pac questionnaire, the current representative, U.S. Rep. Knollenberg scored 0 percent from the Human Rights Campaign.
Individuals can become a host for the Oct. 21 event by pledging to raise $500, or join the event that day with a suggested minimum contribution of $100. All contributions of any amount will be helpful and welcome.
If you plan an attending, please respond to [email protected]. If you are unable to attend the event but would like to support the Peters campaign, send an email and the information you need will be sent out.
