JET hosts Mosaic Youth Theatre this weekend

The Jewish Ensemble Theatre Company's Guest Artist Series continues this weekend with the Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit's innovative production of "HeartBEAT."
Loosely based on a play by Aristophanes, "HeartBEAT" intertwines the vibrant languages of classic Greek theater and the poetry of the street with "step" dance, rhythm and song. This original play with music provides moving and humorous accounts of the battles between love and hate that our young people face daily.
Performances are scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 6 at 2 p.m. at the Aaron DeRoy Theatre located on the campus of the Jewish Community Center, 6600 West Maple Road, West Bloomfield.
Tickets are $20 – $25.
Complete program information can be obtained by calling JET at (248) 788-2900.
