LGBT Town Hall Meeting at Wayne State

DETROIT – On Jan. 13, Oakland University professor Shea Howell will moderate From Anger to Action, a panel discussion by LGBT community leaders on how to expand support for our community among the community at large.
Panelists will include:
Michael Gibson-Faith, Faith Action Network; Susan Horowitz, Between The Lines; Johnny Jenkins, Detroit Black Gay Pride; Jay Kaplan, ACLU GLBT Project; Sean Kosofsky, Triangle Foundation; Leslie Thompson, Affirmations Lesbian and Gay Community Center, Imani Williams, Integrated Youth Support Services.
The discussion will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Room 150 of the General Lectures Building on the WSU Main Campus. The event is LGBT-affirmative, free and open to the public. For more information call 313-577-1750 or email [email protected]
