Lil Nas X to Kick Off Tour in Detroit, Snubs Texas

The one and only Lil Nas X has announced his first tour. The “Long Live Montero” tour will kick off Tuesday, Sept. 6 in Detroit at The Fillmore. Tickets are on sale now. Lil Nas X announced the tour just days ago on Twitter. 

“i’m having my very first tour,” the tweet read. “and all of u better come or i will cry on instagram live.”

The “Long Live Montero” tour, in support of his platinum selling “Montero” album, will travel to 13 U.S. cities before heading to Europe, where Lil Nas X will play shows in the U.K., Germany, France, Belgium and Spain. 

One place the tour won’t be playing is in Texas. 

“i’m sorry i’m not coming to texas for tour,” Lil Nas X said in a subsequent tweet. “my ex lives out there.”

Main floor general admission tickets are selling for $254.95. There is limited reserved seating on the mezzanine and additional general admission in the balconies. Tickets are available on ticketmaster.com.
