An ad hoc group of LGBTQ Michiganders has announced their support for Joe Biden. He is one of the two leading candidates that will appear on the Democratic primary ballot this Tuesday.
"There is nothing more important to me than protecting and preserving the rights of our most vulnerable, marginalized populations, and our planet," Roland Legget wrote in a press release. "As we move forward through the election process as a nation, it has become clear to me that the best candidate to secure these liberties is Joe Biden." Leggett, speaking for the group of LGBTQ Biden endorsers, is chair of the LGBTQ+ Caucus of the Michigan Democratic Party, although the Caucus itself is not endorsing any candidate in the primary.
