Necto Pride Night Features BenDeLaCreme

Fans of BenDeLaCreme will expect nothing less than her "terminally delightful" outlook when she visits Ann Arbor's Necto Pride Night. For over a decade, "DeLa," as fans call her, has mixed a unique blend of performance art and comedy together for a "sweet as pie and sharp as cheddar" mix.
BenDeLaCreme is the the stage name of Benjamin Putnam, a Seattle-based performer. Putnam shot to international fame as a contestant on season six of "RuPaul's Drag Race." Since finishing fifth, Putnam has performed all over the U.S., Europe and Australia and is slated to be a contestant for season three of "RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars."
Putnam has also written three critically acclaimed solo shows, "Terminally Delightful," "Cosmos" and "Inferno A-Go-Go," each premiering Off-Broadway. According to bendelacreme.com "She has produced, written, directed and performed in many of Seattle's favorite shows including her most recent creation, 'Beware the Terror of Gaylord Manor,' which enjoyed a month of sold-out audiences last year and will return to ACT Theatre this October."
Doors open at 9 p.m., the show is at 9:45 p.m. with an encore at midnight. Meet and Greet tickets are available for $25. Necto is located at 516 E. Liberty St., Ann Arbor. Tickets are available online at ticketbrite.com.
