The Out 'N About Arts Collaborative is a year long initiative celebrating the arts of the LGBTQ communities and its allies. This coming week ONA will present the following events:
The Flint City Theater presents "Clit Notes" by Holly Hughes and performed by Sara Robinson – Thursday Nov. 8, 9 & 10 at 8:00pm. This hilarious comedy has received great reviews and is sure to put a grin on your lips! The performance is held at the Ante` Room adjacent to the Good Beans Cafe` 328 N. Grand Traverse Flint, Mi. Emma's Revolution Concert – A lesbian folk duo will be performing on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. Pat Humphries and Sandy Opatow combine their talents to bring you "a musical uprising of truth and hope from award-winning, activist songwriters, who sing original folk songs about peace."

Flint Youth Theater presents two award winning performances by Moises Kaufman and the Tectonic Theater Project
"Gross Indecency" is the gripping work using personal correspondence, interviews and transcripts from the three trials of Oscar Wilde, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m.
"The Laramie Project" from The Tectonic Theatre Project which traveled to Laramie , Wyoming to investigate Matthew Shepard's death as well as the town. Nov. 12 at 7 p.m.
Admission to either performance is $10 and will be held at the Flint Youth Theater, 1220 E. Kearsley St., Flint.

GAY RIGHTS? WHY? On Thursday, Nov. 15, an LGBTQ Guest Panel will discuss discrimination, violence and religious persecution that the LGBTQ community faces, as well as why gay marriage is important. The panel participants are Melissa L. Pope, director of victim services, Triangle Foundation; Phillip A. Hubbard, president MCC Gay/Straight Alliance; Rev. Beth Rakestraw, Metropolitan Community Church, Jay Kaplan, ACLU/Michigan staff attorney. This event is sponsored by the Mott Community College and PFLAG of Genesee County
