BIRMINGHAM — On Friday, June 15, protestors from a variety of organizations gathered in protest of Vice President Mike Pence's Michigan visit in support of Attorney General Bill Schuette. Among some of the attendees were representatives from Planned Parenthood, Progress Michigan, Clean Water Action, Human Rights Campaign and more.
"… Bill Schuette has consistently worked to undermine LGBTQ equality, building a disturbing record that demonstrates a longstanding hostility to some of Michigan's most marginalized and vulnerable communities, and proving time and time again that he will only double down on the Trump-Pence administrations' anti-equality agenda," said HRC Michigan State Manager Amritha Venkataraman.
