PFLAG to march in July 4 Parade

WYANDOTTE – This year PFLAG will be celebrate its chapter's 10 year anniversary by again participating in Wyandotte's 4th of July Parade at 10 a.m. July 4.
At the parade, there will be a float and a motorcade (for those who cannot walk the distance) as well as the usual color guard leading the way. PFLAG will be near the middle of the parade this year and finish earlier.
Meet at the corner of Biddle and Spruce at 8:30 a.m. to help decorate the float. A potluck picnic will follow the parade at the Neubecker home. Maps will be available at the parade location. If you want to support PFLAG but don't feel comfortable in the parade you can cheer them on from the sides of the road and still join them for the picnic, which starts right after the parade.
PFLAG will provide fried chicken, iced tea and lemonade at the picnic. Bring your towel and suit to swim in the hot tub or pool.
