FERNDALE – The Pittmann-Puckett Art Gallery, located within Affirmations Lesbian and Gay Community Center, is currently accepting artists for two shows.
The first is an open slot for a solo or group show. The exhibition is scheduled to run from Sept. 30 – Nov. 1. The entry deadline is July 1.
The second is the Holiday Show and Sale which features art valued at $500 or less. The exhibition is scheduled to run from Nov. 19 – Dec. 31, with a special holiday event featuring arts and crafts on Dec. 10.
The entry deadline for the Holiday Show is Oct. 15.
The Pittmann-Puckett Art Gallery is an exhibition and performance space intended for the presentation of work by LGBT artists. It is available to established and emerging artists, especially those whose work speaks to or about the LGBT community. Artists may sell their work on consignment within the gallery.
Submissions should include numbered and titled slides with slide list, date of work, size, media, artist's statement and resume.
