FERNDALE — Stroll through a line-up of clubs and nightspots along Woodward Avenue and Nine Mile Road during the 10th Annual Pub Crawl on July 28. Participants begin gathering at 6 p.m. at Boogie Fever Nightclub and then travel in several “waves” to 19 clubs, bars and restaurants in a three-block radius of downtown Ferndale.
The Ferndale Pub Crawl is an annual charity event held in and around downtown Ferndale that allows residents, friends and family to gather, socialize, eat, drink and soak in all Ferndale has to offer.
A donation of at least $10 will allow crawlers to wear a pin that allows them access to all the stops without paying cover. The event is for adults 21 and over. No cars or motor vehicles are permitted.
For more information visit www.ferndalepubcrawl.org or call 248-545-1435.
Thursdays on the Nine, a free-form event featuring streets musicians and entertainers as well as a shopping adventure, will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on July 20 and Aug. 17.
Bring your best poker buddy for a Poker Run in July where participating businesses will deal a card from a deck and the participants must visit at least five stores for a hand.
In August there will be a repeat of the June Scavenger Hunt but with different clues, which force participants to meander through downtown Ferndale’s shops and restaurants for answers. Prizewinners will be notified the following day.
