Environmental movies at a venue near you!

On Thursday, May 12, the East Michigan Environmental Action Council will present "The End of Suburbia." Journalist and WSU Professor Jack Lessenberry will give commentary after the film.
The film will be shown at Seaholm High School's Little Theatre at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m.
Seaholm High School is located at 2436 W. Lincoln St. in Birmingham.
On Sunday, June 5, the Michigan Organic Food and Farm Alliance will present: "The Real Dirt on Farmer John" at 7 p.m. at the Landmark Maple Art Cinema III, 4135 W. Maple Road in Bloomfield Hills.
"The Real Dirt on Farmer John" is a moving story about real-life farmer John Peterson, and the extraordinary history of his family farm and its evolution into Angelic Organics, a successful 1,600-member community supported agriculture farm in the Chicago area. This film is scheduled to air on PBS in 2006.
