DETROIT – Lesbian A-Sisters will host its second annual "Shiver" concert featuring performances by Barbara Payton and Serena Escavelle on Saturday, Feb. 26 from 10 p.m. at the Rainbow Room located at 6640 Eight Mile Road in Detroit.
"Last year we raised $1,000 and had a lot of fun, so we decided to do it again this year," said Angie Kaiser, Lesbian A-Sisters program manager. "Barbara Payton and the Rainbow Room have both been very instrumental in my decision to continue this event. They have been very supportive and helpful."
Lesbian A-Sisters is a program of the Midwest AIDS Prevention Project that assists women who are differently-abled or have health challenges with daily tasks. Lesbian A-Sisters is a volunteer run program that is sustained by small program grants, fundraising events, and donations.
