FERNDALE – Soulforce Detroit is holding a meeting Tuesday, April 20 to introduce the community to the principles and purpose of Soulforce. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Soulforce is a national interfaith movement committed to ending spiritual violence perpetuated by religious policies and teachings against gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people.ÊThey employ the nonviolent principles of Gandhi and King to the liberation of sexual and gender minorities.
Join Soulforce Detroit at Affirmations Lesbian and Gay Community Center on Tues. April 20 at 7 p.m. Affirmations is located at 195 W. Nine Mile in Ferndale. The meeting is expected to last until 8:30 p.m.
