On Saturday, May 21, four metro Detroit bowling alleys will host "Strike Out AIDS," a fundraiser for Steppin' Out. Steppin' Out is the organization that coordinates the annual AIDS fundraising walk in Royal Oak.
The following alleys will be participating:
Thunderbowl Lanes (4200 Allen Rd.) in Allen Park and Shore Crest Lanes (23117 Harper Ave.) in Saint Clair Shores will be holding the event from 7-10 p.m. Cloverlane Bowl (28900 Schoolcraft Rd. in Livonia) and Fairlanes Bowl (29600 Stephenson Hwy.) in Madison Heights will be holding the event from 8-10 p.m.
Participants can register in teams of up to five people each; each participant is asked to raise a minimum of $75 in pledges and to bring all pledge monies to their chosen bowling alley on the night of the event.
