FERNDALE РLeslie Thompson, executiveÊdirector of Affirmations LesbianÊand Gay Community Center, is currently on medicalÊleave and recovering from back surgery which was performed the week of May 29. She has been discharged from the hospital and is recuperating at home with the help of her wife, Colleen.ÊA full recovery is expected and Thompson will likely return to workÊas early as June 8.
