LGBTQ support group TRUE is a program from Gateway that helps lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth between the ages of 13 and 18 in the Lansing area. The mission of TRUE is to provide a safe space that is free from bullying, homophobia, biphobia and transphobia for LGBTQ youth and allies ages 13 to 18. Presented by Lansing's Salus Center, which is dedicated to serving LGBTQ youth, the group meets weekly on Tuesday at the center at 4 p.m., with the next meeting Tuesday, May 21.
