FERNDALE – Affirmations Lesbian and Gay Community Center is hosting a reception on Friday, March 18 from 6-9 p.m. for artist Melanie Cherie Vallimont at the Pittmann-Puckett Gallery. The exhibit of Vallimont's work will run through April 29.
Vallimont's expressive photography speaks to the passion, innocence, and romance of human emotion. Drawing inspiration from her grandmother, an artist and painter, Vallimont strives to capture the beauty, vulnerability, and strength emanating from her subjects.
