May 31, Pride 5K and Pride Picnic at Riverside Park. Join the Grand Rapids Frontrunners & Walkers for their annual 5K run/walk, then stick around for the picnic; an afternoon of food, games and family fun. Bring a dish to pass.
June 19, Pride Movie Night. Join your community in a Pride tradition. Start the evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts with a reception, then head into the theater at 8 p.m. for "Breakfast with Scot." Tickets: $10.
June 20, 21st Annual West Michigan Pride Celebration. 2-10 p.m. John Ball Park, Grand Rapids. Music, bingo, vendors, food, beer tent and a whole carnival of fun. Free admission, but donations appreciated.
