2018 GSBA Scholarship Fund Open

The Greater Seattle Business Association represents over 1,300 businesses, corporate and nonprofit members who are LGBTQ and allied and since 1991 has hosted its Scholarship Fund. Since its inception, the fund has raised $3 million through 650 scholarships for LGBTQ students. Applications for the latest scholarship fund are now open and will last through Jan. 11, 2019.
Its self-described mission is, "To invest in the education of a diverse group of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and allied students who have the capacity and vision to be the next generation of leaders working to create a better world for all."
Students are eligible who pursue any kind of post-secondary education that includes commmunity college, public or private colleges & universities, trade schools, apprenticeships and certificate programs. LGBTQ students of any age who are or are planning to attend school in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington are eligible to earn up to $13,000 to further their educuation.
