I found Todd A. Heywood's two articles on the safe schools bill (April 5 issue) both enjoyable and informative.
Incidentally, when my wife and I were driving through Tupelo several years ago we happened on the annual Gumtree Festival. We stopped and enjoyed the arts displayed there, and bought a framed photo from a professional photographer at the festival. Arts, music and eats. All were fine that warm spring day. Good memories. Don Wildmon likely reflects the opinions of many Tupelo residents, but I'm sure he doesn't reflect the opinions of the GLBTQ residents and the Tupelo'ers who love and support them. Don doesn't own the town, he just lives there.
