You know that people of a mind capable of creating the Ku Klux Klan are capable of creating other faith-based cults using and manipulating people who feel like unloved and unwanted misfits to further their own self-interests of power and wealth.
There's an old Anti Defamation League study called Prophets of Deceit that I highly recommend if you can find it.
