8-2 p.m., Fridays through Oct. 12. Saugatuck-Douglas Greenmarket. The Greenmarket opens with fresh local produce and goods for your table.

June 14-July 31. The Art of Carl Hoerman: An Emigre's Vision of America. The long-awaited retrospective exhibition of one of Saugatuck's most illustrious 20th century citizens and artists, including spectacular landscapes from Michigan and the American West. Opening reception and gallery talk at 7 p.m. June 14.

8 p.m. June 16. Reserved Seating -The Wailin' Jennys. Three extraordinary voices, one singular vision: the folk/roots/rock trio continues to evolve into far more than the melodious sum of their individual talents. For more information, visit www.thewailinjennys.com

9-4 p.m. June 16-17. Painting and Drawing the Figure workshop with artist Thigman Hayden.
Tuition for the class is $150; enrollment is limited. Learn to capture gesture, troubleshoot proportion problems and mix flesh tones. Participants will work from life with both short and long poses. The class is suitable for both oil and acrylic painters.
