Letter: More Damage than Good

This artical says it like it is ("Hysteria hits home," BTL Aug. 27). These laws are doing so much more damage then they are good. Do you know anyone registered as a sex offender can not apply for a family base Visa? Back in 1992, I gave cocaine to a minor and played strip poker with her. I am now married to a great woman, we have a son, she is Asian and I can not get her here because I am on the registry. This was a non-violent offense but they wrote a law that says it is now a violent offense.
