It's 'U.K.' to be gay

Dear BTL,

Thank you R.J. Beaumia for such another fine article ("Meaty beaty big and bouncy" from the Dec. 8 issue of BTL).
While reading I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. At the end I had to laugh.
You have given me yet more insight into how suppressed the United States is toward us queers.
How lucky I am to live in the European Community and not really worry every day about being gay. Nice to feel comfortable about myself without some group dictating what I 'should' be.
All you American gays living in fear, I'll tell you what, come over here – we want you and I can get married now!
Burn those stress balls!
