Local photographer to exhibit work at Affirmations

Metro Detroit artist/photographer Kay Young’s color-illuminated photographs (including the one above, “Cranbrook 10/7”) will be on exhibit along with paintings by performance artist Patrick Burton through Feb. 1 at the Affirmations Center Art Gallery in Ferndale. A meet-the-artists reception with refreshments will be from 6:30-9 p.m. on Feb. 18. Young will discuss taking exemplary photos.
