Michigan's Own Madonna Is Back to Rehearsing For Her Upcoming Tour After Health Scare

The icon's Celebration Tour hits Detroit on Jan. 15

There's no stopping Madonna. But you don't need us to tell you that.

This week, the determined-as-ever gay icon returned to rehearsing for her upcoming tour after taking two months off to recover from a serious bacterial infection, according to Madge herself.

Madonna, who we are proud to say is from Michigan, gave fans exciting behind-the-scenes access via a series of photos that she posted to her social media — she called it a “rehearsal photo dump." It included photos of her both on and off stage at an undisclosed location, wearing a corset, naturally.

The rehearsals, of course, are for her upcoming Celebration Tour, which was postponed from the original kick off date of July 15 following Madonna’s health scare on June 27. According to People magazine, the Celebration Tour is said to be Madonna’s “most ambitious tour ever." That's saying a lot considering this is the same music legend who changed the game for live pop spectacles with The Blond Ambition Tour and the Confessions Tour.

Local ticketholders who missed out this summer will be able to catch the rescheduled show in Detroit at Little Caesers Arena on Jan. 15. The tour will start in London on Oct. 14.
