Project Runway: The Complete Second Season (2005) (Weinstein Company)
When "Project Runway" asks, "Are you in, or are you out?" they aren't asking about your sexuality. But they might as well be. "Project Runway" is one of the gayest reality shows ever made. Supermodel Heidi Klum hosts as 16 designers try to climb their way to the top of the fashion heap in Manhattan. The goal: to showcase their original garments on the runways of New York Fashion Week. As one can imagine about a show that takes a behind the scenes look at the glamorous, competitive and sometimes insane world of the fashion industry, there are plenty of eccentric characters, jealous feuds and drama-fueled catfights on "Project Runway." The season two set features 14 extended episodes on four DVDs. It also includes plenty of bonus footage like bloopers, outtakes, cast auditions and a "Where Are They Now" featurette.

Queer Duck: The Movie (Paramount Home Video)
Perhaps the only thing gayer than a reality show about the fashion industry is a cartoon about a gay duck. "Queer Duck: The Movie" marks the feature length debut of the world's most notorious homosexual duck (voiced by Jim J. Bullock) as he confronts the challenges of modern gay life with a little help from his friends Openly Gator, Bi-Polar Bear and Oscar Wildcat. Created and written by Mike Reiss (who has four Emmy Awards under his belt for his work on "The Simpsons"), "Queer Duck" has come a long way since its days as a series of short animations on Icebox.com in 1999 (all featured as DVD extras here). Of course, what's a gay movie without showtunes? "Queer Duck: The Movie" features 15 brand new numbers (including "Gay Day In Happyland" and "Let's Play Gay Baseball"). It also features the guest voices of Tim Curry, Conan O'Brien, and David Duchovny as Tiny Jesus. Oh, and the theme song is done by RuPaul. Could "Queer Duck" get any gayer?

The Best of She-Ra: Princess of Power (1985)
For the honor of Grayskull! Adora, Princess of the planet Etheria and He-Man's twin sister, conceals a secret identity as the magnificent She-Ra. Along with her trusty friends Bow, Kowl, Glimmer, Madame Razz and Broom, She-Ra battles an intergalactic army of vicious fiends called the Evil Horde. A spin off of the original "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" series (which came out last year on DVD), "She-Ra: Princess of Power" quickly became beloved in her own right. They just don't make cartoons like this any more. Thankfully, for those who have been waiting over 20 years (holy Hordak, could it really have been that long?) to see the Princess of Power kicking ass and taking names again, the wait is over. The entire 93 episode series will be released over the next year. In the meantime, "The Best of She-Ra: Princess of Power" features five of the best episodes plus the feature film "The Secret of the Sword" on two discs and includes bonus features like a making-of featurette, audio commentary by the creator of the series, complete storyboards and downloadable scripts from selected episodes.

Eighteen (Tla Releasing)
Pip Anders has just turned 18 and finds himself estranged from his family, living homeless on the streets. As he attempts to sort out his young life with the help of a local priest (played by Alan Cumming), he listens to a tape left to him by his deceased grandfather Jason (voiced by none other than Sir Ian McKellen), telling of his own experiences at age 18 trapped behind enemy lines in battle. Although decades apart, the two young men must face their difficult parallel lives, each on an uncertain journey of redemption and self-discovery. The DVD features director's commentary and a making-of featurette.

You Are Not Alone (1979) (Tla Releasing)
At a Danish boy's boarding school in the late 1970s, Bo and Kim are naive young classmates, whose friendship blossoms into a childlike love affair. When their friend is expelled for a prank involving lewd posters, the student body bands together to strike against the school and its authoritarian headmaster. The exploration of sexual awakening in "You Are Not Alone" was a turning point in world cinema. Lasse Nielsen and Ernst Johansen's classic 1979 film is a groundbreaking meditation on innocence, rebellion and love. The Seattle Times called it, "Gentle and funny in the best style of Truffaut." The DVD features remastered picture and sound, new English subtitles and a photo gallery.
