The second annual Peace Prom, a dance for LGBTQ youth in southeast Michigan, will take place Saturday, March 19 from 8-11:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 each and are available at the door. The theme for this year's event is "Masquerade!" Masks will be provided to those who need them.
The prom, held at the St. John United Church at 801 S. Mechanic St.. in Jackson, is open for those as young as high school freshmen and as old as age 20.
