Shakespeare in the Park

Michigan's biggest outdoor theater event, Shakespeare in the Park, will run through August with shows like "Henry V," "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Summer Sonnets," presented by Water Works Theatre.
Don't miss "Henry V," Shakespeare's greatest hero, from Aug. 2-12 at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 5 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $20 and good for any performance.
"A Midsummer Night's Dream," directed by Barton Bund and starring five actors who play all the roles, returns as a fun hour for the whole family. Catch it at 1 p.m. Aug. 4, 5, 11 and 12, and 7 p.m. Aug. 7 and 8. Tickets are $6 and good for any performance.
"Summer Sonnets" is a magical hour in the park with the Bard's legendary
poetry set to a modern tale by our own playwright, Audra Lord, and directed by JM Ethridge. "Summer Sonnets" plays at 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, Aug. 4, 5, 11 and 12. Admission is free.
