Who Wants Cake? Theatre is pleased to announce a second helping of Del Shores' fabulous dramedy, "Southern Baptist Sissies."
Back by popular demand after a successful run in June, "Sissies" will run Friday through Monday evenings at 8 p.m. August 10-27 at the new Ringwald Theatre in Ferndale. No performances will be held Aug. 17-18 due to the Dream Cruise.
"Southern Baptist Sissies" is a coming-of-age tale that explores how a man can stay true to his faith while remaining true to himself. It is an irreverent, introspective, wrenching and riotous exploration into striking a balance between religious ideal and real life; guilt and God.
The revival features a varied and talented cast that includes Joe Drake, Steven West, Joe Plambeck, Joe Bailey, Chad Hetzel, Melissa Beckwith, Jamie Richards and Cassandra McCarthy. Bailey will once again direct.
Tickets are $15 for Friday-Sunday performances; $10 for Monday performances.
The Ringwald Theatre is located at 22742 Woodward Avenue.
