Ypsi Pride Hosts Turnabout Fundraiser

In preparation for the second annual Ypsi Pride, Ypsi is holding a fundraiser. However, it won't be just a boring evening of donations. Instead, they're putting on a drag show. This show is a bit different than normal, it's a turnabout. Turnabout shows are when a drag king or queen dresses up or does their take on a person who doesn't perform in drag. At the Ypsi Pride fundraiser, each participating king and queen will then perform their favorite number in their chosen garb.
Although performers have not yet been officially announced, Ypsi Pride has already chosen a lineup of local drag performers to take the stage.
The show will be held at Bona Sera Underground at 200 W. Michigan, Ypsilanti. Doors open at 9 p.m. and the show starts at 10 p.m. The show is for ages 18 and up, and admission is $8 at the door, with a $2 discount for attendees with student IDs.
