LENOX, MI –
Metra Magazine held its 33rd annual picnic on Sunday, July 15 at the Salt River Park. The picnic included music, entertainment and of course food.
"We started (the picnic) so that people can go out on a picnic and be themselves and not be bothered by people gawking because they're holding hands or whatever," said Mary Sappington, publisher of Metra Magazine.
Metra Magazine is published in Michigan to promote local LGBT nightlife and printed every two weeks. Metra can be found in most LGBT bars and venues around Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin and Windsor, Canada.
