Mead, Cider and Kombucha of Ferndale Shuttle Tour

Michigan is certainly known for its craft beer, but sometimes its other brews don't get the recognition they deserve. That's not the case at Michigan Brew Tours' Mead, Cider, & Kombucha Shuttle Tour. This aptly titled "un-beer" tour will take guests through three of Ferndale's craft beverage favorites: Urbanrest Brewing Co., Schramm's Mead and B. Nektar Meadery on Saturday, Nov. 23.
"As with every Michigan Brew Tour, you'll be guided by a certified cicerone, a recognized expert in the field of beer. As your guide takes you to each tour stop, you'll do more than just drink mead, cider, kombucha, etc.: you'll learn about ingredients, the fermentation/brewing processes and the history of mead, cider and kombucha while you experience some of the best craft beverages Michigan has to offer," write event organizers. "Transportation to and from each tour stop, beverage samples at each stop, water and snacks in the shuttle and [a] charcuterie board at the Urbanrest stop are all included!"
The age limit for this event is 21 and over only and guests are advised to arrive at least 10 minutes early at Urbanrest. Guests who run late are advised to contact a guide upon arrival at 734-666-5036. There is no need to bring a ticket once registered, attendees can simply provide their name to tour guides.
This event's registration starts at $57. Find out more online at eventbrite.com.
