Stand With Trans is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping youth navigate their transition via providing non-judgmental, inclusive and safe spaces. It was started by Roz Keith soon after she learned that her son was transgender in 2013. Since that time, the organization has grown and is serving people across the Metro Detroit area and beyond.
In Ann Arbor, Stand With Trans hosts a support group that meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at Journey of Faith Christian Church. The group's parent support group facilitator is Yma Johnson as well as Joy Cavanaugh.
