Addiction recovery is by no means an easy feat, but understanding that one might need help is one way to get treatment started. Dr. Amy R. Krentzman is hosting a free presentation that focuses on gratitude and how understanding it can aid with one's recovery.
She has a Master's degree in social work and is an assistant professor at the school of social work at the University of Minnesota and an adjunct research investigator at the University of Michigan Medical School, and will present some her findings at this presentation.
The free event will be held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22 at the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Education Center auditorium. It is located at 5305 Elliott Drive, Ypsilanti.
